The wood pellet is wood biomass compressed into a 3.15 to 40 mm long cylinder shape with a diameter of 6 or 8 mm. It is a clean, natural, environmentally-friendly and renewable source of energy.

Granules are made of sawdust, chippings and woodchips that are dried, pulverised and compressed. The great amount of pressure that is used to compress the raw material means that an incredibly great amount of fuel is contained in a single pellet. No chemical additives or glue are used in the production process, and the pellets are made of 100% wood. Wood pellets offer a substantially higher heat value than traditional firewood. They are also easier to store and transport, and take up much less space. This ecological fuel is completely natural – it simply comes in a different shape and is used a little differently. Biofuel is becoming an increasingly popular energy alternative in Lithuania, and there is no doubt that it will play a critical role in the world of tomorrow. It's no wonder that this low-pollution biofuel has become a favourite with customers both here and in the rest of the world.

Technical parameters:

Calorific value: no less than 18 MJ/kg
Ashes: up to 0.5%
Sulphur: 0.01%
Moisture: up to 10%
Density: no less than 1.12 g/cm3
Weight: no less than 0.65 kg/dm3

Main advantages compared to traditional fuels:
1) relatively cheap for the heat it produces;
2) provides a high concentration of energy in compact form;
3) extraordinarily eco-friendly, minimal (almost zero) CO2 emissions;
4) suitable for use in private homes and boiler rooms;
5) does not require any complex equipment.
